Franco-American & Québécois Song Workshop

Folks are invited to learn and sing traditional Franco-American and Québécois folk songs in French as well as enjoy traditional fiddle tunes in this workshop series from mother-daughter duo Michèle Choinière and Isabella Rottler. In addition to singing in French, beginning and intermediate fiddle players are invited to learn and play traditional fiddle tunes. Michèle is an award-winning Smithsonian Folkways recording artist and Isabella is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist holding the folk music traditions she learned from her grandfather and mother.
