Madama Butterfly Opera Talk – November 6, 2019

Chittenden County Opera Lovers and Pierson Library will present a talk and discussion in the Community Room of the new library on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM. 

Come and join the conversation as we prepare for the stunning Metropolitan Opera  presentation of Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini.  Do you know someone interested in seeing an opera because they’ve never seen one before?  Or have you been going for a long time and still like to go whenever you can?  Either way, this is the one to see.  We will review the music, the story and the background in opera history for the Met’s upcoming production to be simulcast in movie theaters on November 9.  The discussion will be led by Shelburne resident Toni Hill.
