How to register for programs: You can either register for programs at our kick off on June 23rd. If you are unable to join us at the kick off you can call us at   985-5124 or e-mail us at circulation@shelburnevt.org. When you call or e-mail please specify which program(s) you are interested in and the number of children.

Find it Friday Description:  Every Friday at 10:00 a.m. a pin with Google map coordinates will be posted on Facebook telling where to find the prize for the day. Please note:  we will not hide prizes near poison ivy, poison oak, or wild parsnip.

 

The Summer Reading Kick Off Thurs. 6/23 at 1:00 p.m.!

Come to the library for ice cream, grab your reading passport, and sign up for programs. Aron Nels Steinke, author of Mr. Wolf’s Class series, will join us via zoom!

 

Care giver and me yoga: Saturdays 10:30—11:00 a.m.

Yoga Instructor and Educator Suzanne Brubaker of Water and Rock Kids presents: "Caregiver and Me" yoga class for littles ages 2-5 and their caregivers! This free weekly event will run Saturdays through July in our Community Living room. Classes will be held in community room. No registration needed - space is   limited, so don’t come late! Summer dates are: 6/25, 7/2, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30

 

Tom Verner: Magicians Without Borders

Magicians Without Borders visits Shelburne!

Tom Verner and Janet Fredericks perform around the world for at-risk populations. Their destinations are countries where children are isolated due to natural disaster or war. Having returned in May from Ukraine, see Tom and Janet perform in their home state of Vermont!

Look for Tom in a recent issue of Addison Independent, chronicling his time performing in Ukraine!

Microscopic Sea Life with Jan Schwartz

Thursday, July 7th at 1 pm

Get a glimpse into a microscopic world! Aspiring scientists use microscopes to examine sea shells and natural objects! Learn about a world smaller than the eye can see with scientist Jan Schwartz, and bring home your own magnifying lens!

Recommended for ages 6-12
