Tuesday Night Book Club: A Woman of No Importance

August 19 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us for a discussion of A Woman of No Importance by Sonia Purnell, a true story of heroism, espionage, and resistance. In 1942 the Gestapo called her “the most dangerous of all Allied spies.” They were referring to Virginia Hall, a determined American woman with a prosthetic leg who defied expectations and transformed the fight against Nazi occupation in France. As the first Allied woman deployed behind enemy lines, Hall built covert networks, organized sabotage missions, and became a key force in the French Resistance. Copies of the book are available at the front desk, and new members are welcome!
