Summer Reading Kick Off Party

It’s time to dig into fun! Join us at the Pierson as we kick off our Summer Reading Program 2026 and celebrate the start of a summer filled with discovery and fun! The festivities begin at 1:00pm with a free gem and mineral giveaway (while supplies last), plus the debut of our new retro arcade cabinet packed with more than 200 classic video games. At 2:00pm, get ready to be amazed by a knock-your-socks-off performance from magician Alyx Hilshey. Then, at 3:00pm, we’ll keep the fun going with a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream party, a giant bubble extravaganza, and a free outdoor concert by local legends The Hokum Brothers. We can’t wait to see you there!
