Spooktacular Film Fest: Bride of Frankenstein

It’s the season of ghouls and ghosts, when the viscous membrane between worlds gets really thin! To get us in the autumnal mood, we’re screening major works of spooky cinema all month. For our first film we’re traveling back to 1935 for James Whale’s Bride of Frankenstein, a film that upped the tongue-in-cheek ante of the original to become (arguably) the first horror-comedy. Its TV-PG rating makes it suitable for ages 7 and up, but sensitive kiddos should be forewarned of the moody monstrous elements. Starring Boris Karloff, Colin Clive, and Elsa Lanchester as the eponymous bride. A real treat for all Halloween lovers!
