Social Band Choral Recital: Green Leaves of Grass

This Burlington-based chorus performs a cappella music, encourages new compositions, and fosters the joyful and thought-provoking expression of music. Social Band organizes its programs around themes, weaving poetry and song together to create an experience that feeds both hearts and heads. This performance will honor the arrival of springtime with songs that express the nuances of transformation and the cycles of life, whether it be lessons learned from growing plants or molting insects. Renaissance pieces and compositions by Vermonters (including many in-house Social Band composers) will be featured.
