Noontime Poetry Reading Society

This group is for poetry readers, poetry writers, and the poetically curious alike! For the first half hour we take turns, taking the lectern and reading aloud together from whole poetry collections. Whenever we finish one, we vote on the next. We’re currently reading Women Poets from Antiquity to Now. The second half is devoted to poetic reflection, news, and the sharing of poems of your own (that you’ve written, recently discovered, or old faves) There’s a take-home prompt at the end for your own poetic practice.
