Monthly Poetry Salon and Open Mic

Poets rejoice! Once a month Town Hall opens its hallowed doors for lovers of simile and enjambment to gather and bask in each-other’s poetics. We begin with two featured poets doing incredible work with the form and then the evening turns into an open mic! Come to share a short piece or two or just to listen! This month we’re featuring Burlington poet and powerful fabulist Glenn Etter and MFA graduate Julia Alter, whose dizzying collection Some Dark Familiar won the Sundog Poetry Book Award in 2023.
