Joan White Book Launch

Poet Joan M. White will celebrate the release of her debut collection of poetry, a commoner’s prayer, now out from Rootstock Publishing. With vivid storytelling and an intuitive connection to nature, this volume captures the beauty, loss, and resilience that define our shared experience. Poet Alison Prine will introduce White at the event, which features a reading, book sale, and signing. Light refreshments will be served, and The Flying Pig bookstore will be on hand to sell books. This is the first of four incredible poetry-related events we’re featuring in April in recognition of National Poetry Month and we’ll be passing out punch cards to attendees with big prizes if you attend multiple events.
