North Carolina folksinger and songwriter Colin Cutler is making town hall his Vermont stop on a North American tour! An independent musician, Army veteran, and banjo-and guitar-slinging storyteller, his latest album Tarwater ranges across the tent of Americana and folk, drawing from the sounds of country, gospel, blues and roots rock, with a touch of banjo-driven oldtime, and is based on the short fiction of Southern Gothic Georgia author Flannery O’Connor and where her characters intersect with his own experiences growing up in a Pentecostal military family with Southern roots. Expect an evening of traditional folk tunes, original songs and stories with this North Carolina traveling talent!
