Since 1994, Middlebury author, filmmaker, holistic nurse and spiritual healer, Sas Carey has been traveling to Mongolia to work with and learn from the nomadic reindeer and camel herders of the Gobi Desert & taiga. She has written two books, directed six documentary films and founded both the Life Energy Healing School and Nomadicare (a non-profit dedicated to cultural preservation).
