Death and Dying: Death Cafe
January 31 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Death Cafes are opportunities to gather and increase awareness of death so that we might make the most of our finite lives. Moderated by Shelburne resident Nick Marconi, these intimate monthly discussions are a place to voice concerns, share stories, ask questions, and think together about this fact of life. The conversations will inevitably vary depending on who’s in the room, sometimes meandering into existential and/or philosophical terrain, sometimes segueing into the practicalities of DNR forms, wills, and rights of survivorship. It’s not always easy, but when we share heart-to-heart we build community and experience a special joy that enhances our lives now. To register, please call the library at 802-985-5124.
