History remembers the great comedy team-ups of the Marx Brothers, the Three Stooges, Laurel & Hardy, and Abbott & Costello. But despite appearing in more than 48 feature films together, the Bowery Boys seem to have been forgotten by all but the heartiest of crack-up fans. Join us for a screening of their 1957 high-seas caper, Hold That Hypnotist. In the film, hypnotism sends a team of street-tough New York city kids (all played by adults) out to the 17th-century seas and the perilous eye of Blackbeard the pirate! Free popcorn will be provided.
