Social Band: Spring Concert

It’s the time of year when things are on the move and Social Band, that Burlington-based chorus of a cappella choral performers, will honor the springtime by featuring newly commissioned works by Vermont composers, with interweaving of song and poetry and premier compositions by in-house artists. This season’s offerings dwell on themes of birdsong, gardening, and the great outdoors. In addition to the new compositions, the band will perform Renaissance pieces by Josquin de Prez and Clement Janequin.
