Exhibitionists Book Club: The Underground Railroad

This month we’re talking about Colson Whitehead’s fabulist, speculative novel The Underground Railroad. The pulitzer-prize winning novel is an alternate history of the antebellum south imagining what if the underground railroad was a real rail transit system. The book pairs beautifully with the museum’s current exhibition, “All Aboard: The Railroad in American Art”. Copies available at the front desk and all book club members get a free admission to see the gallery. Check it out in advance of the discussion as the book talk will coincide with the exhibit.
