Our Tryables collection is made up of non-traditional items you can borrow for free. It includes tools, tech, games, musical instruments and more!

Who can borrow items from the Tryables collection?

Patrons who are 18 and older with a Pierson Library card or Homecard library card in good standing.

How do I borrow a Tryable item?

Bring it to the first floor circulation desk and complete a waiver form.

How long can items be checked out for?

One week.

Can Tryables be renewed and kept longer than a week?

Currently, Tryables are not renewable.

Can Tryables be returned in the book drop?

To avoid damage, Tryables must be returned to the first floor circulation desk.
