DESCRIPTION:It’s Vermont Arbor Day\, and we’re going big this year! Thanks to a generous donation from Shayne Geiger (the town’s Storm Water Coordinator)\, coordination from the Shelburne Tree Committee\, and funding from the Climate and Energy Committee through our Living with Climate Chaos series\, we have 200+ bald cypress (Taxodium distichum) and American persimmon (Diospyros virginiana) seedlings to give to patrons\, first come\, first serve. Fight climate change and build memories by planting a carbon-absorbing\, wooden ally of your very own!
