As suspicion deepens and a trial approaches\, Martha pursues the truth despite growing personal risk. Richly researched and vividly told\, the novel brings to life a courageous woman who defied social conventions to seek justice in a world determined to silence her. This book/exhibit discussion will take place at the Pierson Library and be facilitated by Shelburne Museum’s Kat Redniss.
