We’ll investigate both classic and contemporary philosophical and essayistic works flitting into and out of the established western canon at whim to cultivate a myriad of perspectives. And what better place to start than with the Greeks!  \nThis Platonic dialogue from 360 BC takes place on the day after The Republic. Far more than just Plato’s history of Atlantis\, Timaeus is weirder\, wilder\, and deeper than you may have heard\, offering up a complex cosmogony of the universe itself.
