SUMMARY:Shelburne Bay Bird Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join Green Mountain Audubon Society board member and avid birder Lucie Lehmann on a gentle walk around Shelburne Bay and the Ti-Haul Trail. We’ll be looking for newly arrived migrant birds in their breeding plumage\, including warblers and Common Loons.  Beginning birders\, families\, and children are all welcome. We’ll meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Shelburne Bay parking lot. A limited number of binoculars will be available\, so bring your own if you have them. Please register at (802) 985-5124.

SUMMARY:Adventures in Nature: Early Morning Bird Walk (Summer Reading Program)
DESCRIPTION:Join local Audubon member Lucie Lehman and other birders for an awesome hike through the village and into LaPlatte Nature Park to see what birds we can spy. Gather at 7 AM in front of the Pierson Library for coffee and donuts and then we’re off! Limited binoculars will be available\, so bring your own if you’ve got them. Please note – we will be accessing LaPlatt from behind the Shelburne Market\, so expect a steep decline/incline and uneven terrain.
