DESCRIPTION:September is Library Card Sign-Up Month\, and there’s never been a better time to join the library or encourage a friend to sign up! Any Shelburne resident who registers for a new library card at the Pierson Library during September will be entered to win a gift card to variety of wonderful Shelburne businesses. Plus\, you’ll get access to a world of books\, digital resources\, programs\, and more. The contest runs September 2–30 and the winners will be drawn at the end of the month. DESCRIPTION:Find community and encouragement with other writers in our monthly creative writing meet-up! Each session will include a check-in to see where and how everyone’s at with their practice and/or projects\, followed by an in-session generative writing exercise (lead either by library staff or outside expert)\, a supportive workshopping of submitted pages (ideally read ahead of session) and quiet time for individual creative work in a group writing environment.
