Information about Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Pierson Library is monitoring the status and possible risks of the Coronavirus and is working diligently to protect the health and safety of our patrons and staff. Here is what we have put in place to date:
- Staff are sanitizing public surfaces including door handles, railings, and service desks each morning before patrons enter the building.
- Signs are posted in every restroom to encourage hand washing. Hand sanitizer is available at the front desk upon request for patron and staff use.
- We are encouraging staff and patrons to stay home if they are not well.
If patrons are unable to come to the library, we have many ways to keep you informed and entertained: Downloadable books and audiobooks are all available 24/7 from our Digital Library through Overdrive. We also have a number of online news and magazine databases for your research needs. All of these resources are available in our ELibrary.
Please note that you will need a current Pierson Library card for the resources listed above.
Feel free to call our librarians at 985-5124 if you need any help with the above.
